Established in 1997, Liquidweb is basically a managed dedicated host. Even though they offer VPS and shared hosting, they are best known for their dedicated servers. The USP of Liquidweb is their customer support, which they call “Heroic Support”. Heroic or otherwise, within their price range, there are very few hosts that give as much stress on customer support as Liquidweb.Do you know many web hosts that have more than one decade of business experience under their belt? Even though LiquidWeb does not publish exact numbers of how many websites they host, the fact that they own 2 (!) huge data centers speaks a clear language. I have worked in large data centers before and we’re probably talking about a capacity of 20,000+ web servers (not websites). Liquid Web is proud of their heroic support and an average ticket response time of about 10 minutes! You can tell that is not an accident – there are some smart people at work for you.

Price Value
LiquidWeb offers some of the most honest web hosting plans in the entire industry. There is absolutely no overselling. Period. What does that mean to you as a customer? Availability and high value. The server hosting your website is designed to deliver what is being sold – and that is more worth than allowances you can never max out or if attempted to, takes down the entire server. Overselling is industry standard and Ok if done right, but if you need to be sure your website is always online, it is time to consider the LiquidWeb approach. Quality has a price and that is an extremely fair price tag Liquidweb has designed. Other web hosts might be cheaper, but try to really use all the allotted bandwidth just once – we dare you. Even the entry level servers are of reasonable configuration and should not be compared with cheap dedicated servers from other hosts.
Liquidweb is not exactly a budget host, but if you consider the fact that they offer server management as well, their rates are reasonable. To give a clear picture, Liquidweb charges nearly 50% more than a Godaddy unmanaged server but only 50% of what Rackspace would charge for a similar configuration.

4 Month Review of Liquid Web Dedicated Hosting from a current customer
After struggling for years with the frustration of poor technical support, latency, and down-time, it appears that I’ve finally found the solution to my web hosting woes. Liquid Web’s Dedicated Servers have been nothing short of excellent for me so far. If you’re serious about your websites, and they are a source of income for you, it’s not worth the savings to buy cheap web hosting.So far, Liquidweb has put a dedicated server technician on the phone within 2 minutes of my call, no matter what time of day or night I’ve called. They were very helpful and professional, taking the time to help me diagnose even minor obscure server issues.
The server has been ultra fast, and had flawless up time. I have their free off-site backup configured, and a Raid 2 configuration that keeps a mirror copy of my hard drive available at all times. For extra added security, backups of important sites are stored on another server, and I use managed DNS to enable propogation-free switching between the two.
I can honestly say that moving to a reliable, managed, dedicated server company was one of the best business decisions I have made in a while. I did a lot of research on web hosting forums before I made the decision, talking to people about their experiences and searching through old reviews. Liquid Web was one of the few that had lots of really good reviews and few negatives.
